Position: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Indianapolis, IN (in office)

 

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full life cycle recruiting and works with management across the company to effectively recruit, screen, and recommend high performers into the organization. They will also partner with the HR team to assist in HR related projects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
  • Screen resumes, interviews candidates, administers appropriate assessments, and makes recommendations for hire (or candidate rejection).
  • Delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt staff openings.
  • Assist in managing the internal candidate interview process.
  • Effectively communicates and coordinates with area employment agencies and other outside vendors as needed.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure timely feedback and consistent communication during the interview process.
  • Communicates/clarifies important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, etc.).
  • Helps to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations are followed throughout the hiring process.
  • Assists with employee referral process, website inquiries and other employment opportunity related submissions.
  • Participates in career fairs and other college networking events as needed
  • Submits payroll information for incoming new hires to internal parties.
  • Assists in reporting/tracking hire information
  • May assist in general HR questions / issues from internal staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Marketing, Business, or related field is a plus
  • 10 or more years of recruiting experience is required
  • Experience recruiting engineering, architecture, or STEM related roles is a plus
  • Strong computer skills with proficient skills in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Effective multi-tasking and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team environment
