Responsibilities

Responsibilities in our Transportation Design Groups (Road, Bridge, Traffic)

  • Contribute to roadway design through completing design calculations, roadway layouts, drainage calculations, plan production, and quantity and cost estimate takeoffs.
  • 3D modeling and work with Microstation/Geopak, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. 
  • Different projects of all sizes could include, Roundabouts, Urban Roads, Rural Roads, drainage improvements and Large Interstate Improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Student majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering
  • Reliable transportation to and from office location
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things
