Position: Senior Desktop Support Technician

Location: Indianapolis, IN

 

We are looking for a team oriented and technically gifted problem solver to become the next integral member of our Information Technology team. This person will lead our skilled team of Desktop Support Technicians in a fast-paced environment. This person should be a self-starter, solutions oriented, and a high level of integrity. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Desktop Support Technicians in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Desktop Support team, including assigning and prioritizing tasks, monitoring team performance, and coaching team members
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting and problem resolution, including root cause analysis, to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction
  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devise in a Windows environment

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in desktop support or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a team lead role is preferred
  • Experience with network and infrastructure support
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and applications
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field of study is preferred
