Responsibilities

Are you passionate about building relationships and solving technological challenges? As a Business Development Director in our IT Solutions Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth and success. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging new clients, understanding their unique needs, and collaborating with our team to deliver innovative IT solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify and Engage New Clients: Use your expertise to seek out and connect with potential clients who can benefit from our IT solutions.
  • Develop Strategic Sales Plans: Work closely with our marketing team to create and implement effective sales strategies that generate new leads and opportunities.
  • Build and Maintain a Robust Sales Pipeline: Ensure a steady flow of prospects and manage the sales process to meet our growth targets.
  • Foster Strong Partner Relationships: Cultivate and expand relationships with key partners to enhance our service offerings and market reach.
  • Understand Client Needs: Conduct in-depth discovery meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of client challenges and requirements.
  • Lead Proposal Development: Collaborate with our IT consultants and leadership to craft compelling proposals that address client needs and showcase our capabilities.
  • Achieve Revenue Goals: Set and meet ambitious revenue targets, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Provide Exceptional Client Service: Maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Conduct Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Report on Sales Activities: Prepare regular reports and forecasts for senior management, providing insights into sales performance and market dynamics.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience selling consultative IT solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with new clients
  • Demonstrate tenacity and resilience in identifying and engaging new clients
  • Driven by success and embraces performance-based objectives
  • Thrives and demonstrates high adaptability in a competitive and fluid environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
