Group: Civil Site

Position: Staff Engineer

Location: Cleveland, OH

 

We are looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Civil Site Group in our Columbus, OH office.  Our ideal candidate will be a motivated and hardworking individual who is looking for experience on exciting projects and wants to find a place to grow a career. This person will be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment. This Staff Engineer will be expected to work with a Project Manager and other staff, to drive the design on a variety of Civil/Site Development projects.  In this position you will need to be able to think quickly on your feet and be an exceptional problem solver.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design site layouts
  • Perform grading and drainage design
  • Permitting of commercial and residential site development projects
  • Road and utility design
  • Hydrologic/hydraulic analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related degree
  • 2+ years of experience in site development, grading and drainage design, or hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
  • AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written & verbally, at all levels of the organization
