American Structurepoint is looking for summer interns in our Bridge Engineering Group. The internship would be located in our South Bend, IN Design Center.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities in our Bridge Engineering Group

  • Contribute to bridge designs, hydraulic modeling, site assessment and engineering report development.
  • 3D modeling and work with Microstation/Geopak, AutoCad, Blubeam, Open Bridge, Merlin Dash, Quick Bridge
  • Different projects would include Bridge Replacements and Rehabilitations, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvements

Qualifications

  • Student majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering
  • Reliable transportation to and from office location
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things
