Position: Project Engineer   

Location: Cincinnati, OH

 

We are looking for a talented engineer who is looking for the opportunity to work on exciting projects in our Cincinnati office.  In this role you will be a part of a growing team and contribute to transportation designs and mentoring of less seasoned staff members as we add to this team.  Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong technical background.  4+ years of engineering experience is required.  Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for client interaction and career advancement.  Must be a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio, or have the ability to become licensed within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for transportation projects
  • Geometric, maintenance of traffic, drainage, and signing/pavement marking design as necessary
  • Development and mentoring of junior staff
  • Interaction with clients on technical related issues
  • Development and Quality Control of construction plans, quantities, and specifications
  • Development of 3D roadway models
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Ohio (or ability to obtain within 6-12 months)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a roadway engineer
  • Ability to work well and self-motivate in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong team player with effective internal & external communication skill
