Position: Interior Designer

Location: Indianapolis, IN

 

Are you a gifted Interior Designer? We're hiring.

 

American Structurepoint is looking for a bright, creative, ambitious, and passionate problem solver to become the next member of our architecture and interior design team. This person will learn from and work directly under our Senior Designers on the predesign and schematic design phases of a diverse range of project types.

 

Successful candidates must share our passion for design and must have the commitment to not only meet our high standard of excellence, but to continue to push the boundaries and raise the bar in our expanding and evolving architectural practice.

 

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design from a CIDA accredited program. They must also be NCIDQ certified or obtain certification within one year of their hire date. A LEED AP with Specialty or WELL AP Credential is also required or must be obtained within one year of hire date. Preference will be given to those with ten or more years of experience in an architectural firm who can hit the ground running. Candidates must demonstrate a strong design portfolio, experience in the design and documentation process, and technical knowledge of interior construction.

 

Our design process fully embraces the latest in technology. Candidates should have an aptitude for using and learning advanced software and digital modeling techniques. Knowledge of the following software is essential:

  • Trimble SketchUp
  • Autodesk Revit
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Microsoft Office Suite
