    Group: Civil Site

    Position: CAD Designer  

    Location: Indianapolis, IN

     

    We are looking for a Designer to join our Civil Group.  A good candidate will be a motivated and hardworking individual who is looking for experience on exciting projects and wants to find a place to grow a career. This person will be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment. 

     

    This civil designer will be expected to work with a Project Manager and Project Engineer, to drive the design on a variety of Civil/Site Development projects.  In this position you will need to be able to think quickly on your feet and be an exceptional problem solver. Previous experience designing site layouts, performing grading and drainage design and permitting of commercial, industrial & residential site development projects, road design, utility design, construction plan preparation and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis is preferred.

     

    Experience with AutoCAD civil 3D (alignments, profiles, corridors, surfaces, etc.), earthwork takeoff calculations, and Microsoft Excel is required. Candidate should have the ability and desire to work between geographic markets throughout the US.

     

    In this position you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in both the private and federal markets.

    Qualifications

    - Associates Degree in CAD Drafting

    - 5+ years of experience
    - Ability to work well independently or on teams
    - Ability to work well under pressure
    - Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
