  • Overview

    The Talent Acquisition specialist is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting and works with management to effectively source, recruit, screen, and recommend high performers into the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist also partners with the HR team to develop HR strategy and branding for long range planning.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
    • Screens resumes, interviews candidates, administers appropriate assessments, and makes recommendations for hire (or candidate rejection).
    • Delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt staff openings.
    • Manages the internal candidate interview process.
    • Effectively communicates and coordinates with area employment agencies and other outside vendors as needed.
    • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information during the interview process.
    • Communicates/clarifies important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, etc.).
    • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.
    • Manages candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System.
    • May assist in general HR questions / issues from staff.

    Qualifications

    Requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR Management (or similar) and 1-5 years demonstrated experience in recruiting.
