    Position: Graphic Designer (Print Layout and Production)

    Location: Indianapolis, IN


    The American Structurepoint Marketing Communications team develops the marketing and communications strategies and tactics to promote all of American Structurepoint’s services. It is our goal to deliver strategic marketing initiatives in support of American Structurepoint’s mission and market share growth objectives. This group’s number one goal is to make the company look good!

    We are seeking a creative mind with an eye and passion for stellar graphic design. In this role, you will be part of an industry-leading marketing communications team that thrives on delivering unique and creative materials that inspire, inform, and captivate our audience. The candidate should have a broad understanding of design strategy methods and practices when it comes to formatting, layout, and production for proposals, brochures, postcards, ads, flyers, presentations, websites, video graphics, etc. Must have a love of vectors, pixel-perfect designs, getting out the headphones, and cranking out multiple projects a day on a fun team. If you are a self-motivated, talented, detail-oriented designer with a strong work ethic, this is the position for you!


    Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

    • Ability to present and articulate creative ideas and concepts for internal creative team
    • Formal training in graphic design, typography, interactive design, and/or visual communications
    • Superior time-management skills, creative problem-solving skills, and strong initiative to complete projects on time while handling multiple deadlines
    • Strong talent for all elements of design, layout, and typography with sharp attention to details
    • Use current and future design trends while adhering to fundamental design principles
    • Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism
    • Work smart and look for ways to drive improvements while organizing, planning, and delivering a great end product
    • Keep up to date with latest software and computer technologies to remain competitive


    • Meet with clients and/or the senior graphic designer to determine scope of project
    • Collaborate closely with writers/proposal coordinators to transform content into visual graphics
    • Design layouts incorporating text, iconography, images, etc., to help deliver a desired message
    • Present design concepts to clients and/or the senior graphic designer
    • Incorporate changes recommended by clients and/or senior graphic designers into final designs
    • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing



    • Bachelor’s degree in a graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Three to five years of relevant work experience
    • Expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator for PC environment
    • Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus
    • Creative flair, originality, and a strong visual sense
    • Strong conceptual and visual communication skills
