Overview

Are you looking for an internship that will allow you to work on real design projects to add to your portfolio? Then this opportunity is for you! We are seeking a creative mind with an eye and passion for stellar graphic design. As part of the busy design team, you will work closely with the other designers by assisting with production support on layout templates as well as participation in the design and development of proposals, picture pages, brochures, ads, flyers, etc. We value people who are self-motivated, accountable, and fun. If you are a talented, detailed-oriented designer with a strong work ethic this is the position for you. This is a great opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a corporate graphic design environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create, design, and develop of collateral materials
  • Assist with proposals
  • Digital photo editing and touch-ups
  • Attend weekly meetings with the designer team
  • Assist in brainstorming concepts for upcoming projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Able to present and articulate creative ideas and concepts for internal creative team
  • Formal training in graphic design, typography, interactive design and/or visual communications
  • Handle several concurrent projects and work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Strong talent for all elements of design, layout and typography with a sharp attention to details
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe CS5 Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash) for PC environment
  • Photography experience a plus
