Overview

We are looking for a Project Engineer to design and manage utility infrastructure work in the midwest market. This person will be responsible for working on a variety of projects from our Columbus office.

Responsibilities

The Project Engineer position includes the design, analysis, and plan set preparation for a variety of water and wastewater stormwater projects including, but not limited to, water distribution systems, wastewater collection, water and wastewater treatment, sewage collection systems, pumping stations, lift stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, and pipeline projects. Tasks include master planning, preparation of design drawings, specifications, and calculations. Other responsibilities may include presentations and client communication.

 

Qualifications

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • Registered engineer with 5 or more years diversified Utility Infrastructure experience
  • Ohio PE preferred or obtain within six months after employment
  • Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, Green Infrastructure Project Experience preferred
  • Project experience with local municipalities and public utilities
  • Experience with professional organizations such as WEF, AWWA, and ASCE etc.
  • Ability to think outside the box with innovative ideas to provide solutions to clients
