    Position: Business Development Director

    Location: Indianapolis, IN

     

    American Structurepoint is currently seeking a Business Development Director in our Indianapolis office.  We are a high-energy firm looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person with drive to succeed in a competitive professional services market. 

     

    Responsibilities

    A successful candidate will develop relationships with Municipal Governmental entities including cities, counties and township officials which will lead us to becoming a trusted consultant in that community.  Planning and preparation activities to promote the development of those relationships include:

    • Creating and maintains marketing strategies based on the goals of the Company
    • Maintain business development records
    • Create and maintain a business development plan
    • Develop leads and perform follow-up as necessary to win jobs
    • Maintain relationships with the leaders of municipal officials
    • Work with Executive and Technical staff to coordinate and prepare proposal packages
    • Understand the political process and the process by which jobs are awarded
    • Know the competition

    Qualifications

    • 5 + years of sales experience
    • Ability to travel within assigned region
    • Ability to work overtime as necessary.
